What you can see and do

Pathrail in Delduar upazila is the main centre of the Tangail sari, where Basak weaver families have woven by hand for generations. As you enter the village you hear the clack of looms from house after house. You can follow the whole process from dyeing yarn to working the motifs, and buy a sari from the weaver.

How to get there

From Tangail town, an auto-rickshaw along the Delduar road reaches Pathrail Bazar in about half an hour.
