Non-AC buses (Nirala, Dhaleshwari, Jhotika) leave Mohakhali; AC buses (Sonia, Sakal Sandhya, Sarbik) leave Kallyanpur at Khaleq petrol pump; all arrive at Tangail New Bus Stand (district portal, updated 29 Jul 2026). BRTA lists Mohakhali-Tangail via Ashulia and Chandra as 90 km, Tk 216 (51-seat) and Tk 275 (40-seat). The AC fare of Tk 400 is a July 2026 figure and may have changed after the September diesel price rise. 2-2.5 hours by AC bus, 3-4 hours by non-AC. The Jamuna Bridge is not crossed.
