What Unseen Bangladesh is, who made it, where the data and photos come from and how your data is kept.
Unseen Bangladesh (অদেখা বাংলাদেশ; short: অদেখা বাংলা) is a free travel companion for Bangladesh. Alongside the famous sights you will find lesser-known places that most people have never seen.
There are no ad networks and no third-party trackers, and fonts and photos are served from this site, so it opens quickly even on slow connections. When a business pays to be shown first, its listing is always marked “Sponsored”.
Unseen Bangladesh (অদেখা বাংলাদেশ) is an independent site at unseenbd.com. It shares no ownership, team or data with unseenbangladesh.com or any other travel site. The design and code here are our own; the sources of the map and the photos are listed below.

Privacy
Without an account, your choices stay in your browser and never reach us.
With an account we keep: your name, email, an encrypted form of your password (never the password itself), districts visited, places viewed, plans, expenses and the photos you add.
Cookies are used only to keep you logged in and to remember the light or dark theme. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Photos are re-created on your phone before upload, so location (GPS) and camera data inside them never reach the server.
You can delete your history and photos from your profile. To delete your whole account, contact the site's maker.
We count, as daily totals only, how many visits the site gets and how often a few buttons (such as share, map download or start quiz) are pressed. Nothing that identifies you is stored with these totals.
When you press "Short link" on My Bangladesh, the districts you ticked and the name you typed are kept on our server under a short address so that the link can open them. No account, e-mail or anything else that identifies you is stored.
If you put your name on the quiz leaderboard, the name and score are kept on our server for review, and the name is shown only once a person has approved it. Messages sent with "Suggest a tip or a correction" are kept only for us to read and are never shown on a page; a refused one is deleted. If you are signed in, your account number is kept with the message. No IP address or cookie is stored with any of this.

Terms of use
Unseen Bangladesh is a free travel guide. You may use it for your own trips and share its pages and your own map posters.
Fares, timetables and opening details change. Check them with the operator before you travel; the pages say when each figure was last checked. We do not sell tickets or bookings.
Photos you upload stay yours. By making one public you allow this site to show it with your name; you can delete it at any time. Do not upload other people’s photos or anything unlawful.
How facts are checked and corrected
Every fare and timetable on the route pages shows where it comes from and when it was last checked.
Photos shared publicly appear only after they have been reviewed, and you can delete your own at any time.
The number beside the star (★) on cards and pages is set by the site's admin and updated from time to time; it is not a count of visitors' votes, likes or views.
