What you can see and do

Teota Zamindar Bari stands beside the Jamuna in Shibalaya upazila. The zamindars' palace is crumbling but still standing. Its tall navaratna temple survives as well. Pramila Devi's ancestral home is in this village. Her husband was the poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, and through that tie Nazrul's name too is bound up with the place. End the visit sitting by the river.
