What you can see and do

Hum Hum waterfall is in Kamalganj, far inside the Rajkandi reserve forest. Getting there means walking for a few hours, past hillocks, bamboo groves and streams. The wide fall drops roughly 150 feet and is strongest in the monsoon. The trail is slippery with leeches, so bring good shoes, a stick and a local guide.

How to get there

Take a jeep from Sreemangal via Kurma tea estate in Kamalganj to Kalabon Para. From there it is a two to three hour walk with a guide.

Safety notes

Rocks by a waterfall are slippery and the water can rise suddenly after rain; keep clear of the current.
