Vasu Vihara (Bhasu Bihar)
What you can see and do
Vasu Vihara in Shibganj upazila is known locally as Narapatir Dhap. Excavations uncovered the foundations of two Buddhist monasteries and a shrine, along with bronze images and terracotta plaques. Come here for a quiet archaeological site away from the crowds at Mahasthangarh.

In Bihar village, about 6 km north-west of Mahasthangarh; reach it by auto-rickshaw or van.
