Kalitola Ghat, Sariakandi
What you can see and do
From Kalitola Ghat in Sariakandi you look out over the wide Jamuna and its distant sandbar islands. The groyne built to hold back river erosion has become a popular spot for an afternoon stroll. Engine boats leave from here for the chars, where you can see farming and daily life up close.
How to get there
Sariakandi is about 22 km east of Bogura town, roughly an hour by bus or CNG auto-rickshaw.

Wear a life jacket on a boat; stay off the river when a storm is likely.
