What you can see and do
Sholakia Eidgah ground lies on the bank of the Narasunda River. On Eid day several hundred thousand worshippers pray here together. By the number of worshippers it is one of the biggest Eid congregations in Bangladesh. Eid prayers have been held here for about two centuries. On other days the ground is calm and open, good for an afternoon walk by the river.
How to get there
It lies on the eastern edge of Kishoreganj town and is an easy rickshaw ride from anywhere in town.
