What you can see and do
Jangalbari in Karimganj upazila was a stronghold and capital of Isa Khan, leader of the Baro Bhuiyan chiefs. Within its old moat survive the broken walls of the audience hall, an old mosque and the home of his descendants. It is a place to stand and picture Bengal's resistance to the Mughals.
How to get there
From Kishoreganj town, an auto-rickshaw along the Karimganj road reaches Jangalbari village in about half an hour.
