What you can see and do

Madhabkunda comes down the Patharia hills of Barlekha upazila. The drop is about 200 feet. Few waterfalls in the country are better known. A paved path through the eco-park makes it easy to reach and passes tea gardens. A Khasia village lies on the same path. A short walk further in brings you to the quieter Parikunda fall.

How to get there

From Moulvibazar town go by bus or CNG via Kulaura to Kathaltoli in Barlekha, then by CNG to Madhabkunda; about 2.5 hours.

Safety notes

Rocks by a waterfall are slippery and the water can rise suddenly after rain; keep clear of the current.
