What you can see and do

This small three-domed mosque stands among mango orchards and crop fields in Maria union, Durgapur upazila. It is often dated to about 1500, but the Department of Archaeology puts it in the late 18th century on stylistic grounds; plaster ornament remains on the walls. On its south side is a small two-storey structure known locally as Bibir Ghar.

How to get there

From Rajshahi city take a bus on the Natore road to Shibpur Bazar; from there the mosque is about 5-7 km by auto-rickshaw or van via Pali Bazar.
