What you can see and do

The palace belonged to the rajas of Dighapatia. Today it is the official northern home of the head of government, which is why it is called Uttara Ganabhaban. The tall gateway with its clock, the moat and the Italian-style garden are the big draws here. Give the marble sculptures some time as well. The museum inside keeps many things that the rajas' family used.
