What you can see and do

Built in 1781 in Armanitola, this church recalls the Armenian merchants who once prospered in Old Dhaka. The yard is paved with old gravestones, many carved in Armenian and English. It is one of the few truly quiet corners in these crowded lanes.

How to get there

Take a rickshaw to Armanitola from Sadarghat or Babubazar; it is also a short walk from the Star Mosque.

Safety notes

Dress modestly at a place of worship, keep quiet during prayers and ask before taking photographs.
