Godar Bazar Padma Riverside
What you can see and do
Godar Bazar ghat is right next to Rajbari town; from the embankment you look out over the broad Padma and its distant sandbanks. Townspeople come to walk here in the afternoon, and you can hire a boat to visit a char. The river looks its best in the soft light of a winter afternoon.
How to get there
From the centre of Rajbari town, a rickshaw or auto-rickshaw reaches Godar Bazar ghat in 10 to 15 minutes.
Safety notes
Wear a life jacket on a boat; stay off the river when a storm is likely.
