What you can see and do
Mir Mosharraf Hossain is buried at Padamdi village in Baliakandi upazila. He wrote Bishad Sindhu, and spent his last years in this village. The memorial centre built around his grave has a library, a museum and an auditorium. For readers of Bengali literature it is a calm place of pilgrimage.

From Rajbari town, a bus or auto-rickshaw along the Baliakandi road reaches Padamdi village in about an hour.
