What you can see and do
Tarua beach on Dhal Char, the southernmost point of Char Fasson, is an empty sandy shore facing the Bay of Bengal. Keora forest stands on one side and open sea on the other; you make the long boat journey for red crabs, winter birds and a sunset with almost no one around.
How to get there
Bus from Bhola town via Char Fasson to Char Kachchhapia ghat, then several hours by trawler to Dhal Char; plan to stay overnight.

Follow the lifeguards and flags before you enter the sea; stay out of deep water at high tide or in heavy surf.
