What you can see and do
Monpura upazila is an island in the middle of the Meghna, apart from the mainland of Bhola. Sunrise and sunset from the long landing jetty, deer in the keora forest and herds of buffalo are its familiar sights, and you can cover the whole island by bicycle or motorcycle.
How to get there
Take a bus from Bhola town to Tazumuddin ghat, then a sea-truck or trawler to Monpura. Dhaka-Hatiya launches also call here.
