Shah Sultan Gazi Mosque, Mirer Bagan
What you can see and do
This old mosque at Mirer Bagan in Dariapur, Gaibandha Sadar upazila, is known by the name of Shah Sultan Gazi, remembered as a warrior of the faith. According to its inscription, a religious figure named Syed Wazed Ali found the mosque and had it restored. A shrine stands beside the mosque, and a fair is held here every Baishakh.
How to get there
About 10 km from Gaibandha town toward Dariapur; around half an hour by auto-rickshaw.
