What you can see and do

The Madhupur tract's sal forest is among the large natural forests of Bangladesh's plains. Villages of the Garo and Koch, and pineapple gardens, lie inside the park and around it. You can start walking the forest trails from the Dokhola rest house area. Capped langurs and macaques are seen in the forest. Barking deer live here too, along with a wide variety of birds.

How to get there

The way into the forest is the Rasulpur gate. Take a bus from Tangail town to Madhupur, then follow the Mymensingh road there.

Safety notes

Check the entry rules and permits with the forest department or local authority first; do not go deep without a guide.
