Muktagacha Zamindar Bari

Mymensingh · History and heritage

What you can see and do

Much of this sprawling house of the Acharya Chowdhury zamindars of Muktagacha is now decayed, yet the gateway, nat mandir, traces of a revolving stage and the temples still convey its old standing. The original shop for the town's famous monda sweet is close by, so you can see the house and taste monda in one trip.
