What you can see and do
A short river crossing from Burigoalini in Shyamnagar brings you to Kalagachhia in the western Sundarbans. A wooden trail runs through goran and gewa mangroves, a watchtower looks over the creeks and forest, and deer and monkeys often come close to visitors.
How to get there
Bus from Satkhira town via Shyamnagar to Munshiganj or Burigoalini, then an engine boat with a Forest Department permit.
