What you can see and do
At Inani beach in Ukhiya, low tide exposes rows of dark rock on the sand with clear pools between them. The Marine Drive from Cox's Bazar is worth the trip in itself, with the sea on one side, hills on the other and Himchhari on the way. Time your visit for low tide to see the rocks.
How to get there
From Kolatoli in Cox's Bazar town it is about 25 km. By jeep, CNG or auto-rickshaw down Marine Drive the ride takes under an hour.

Follow the lifeguards and flags before you enter the sea; stay out of deep water at high tide or in heavy surf.
