What you can see and do

South of Cox's Bazar town beside Marine Drive, Himchari brings together forested slopes, Bay of Bengal views and a seasonal waterfall. Steps lead to a high viewpoint over the coast, while the falls carry more water after rain. Take care on wet steps and slopes, and stay on the park's marked paths.

How to get there

From Cox's Bazar town, follow the southbound Marine Drive by jeep, CNG or local bus to Himchari. Check locally whether the waterfall and viewpoint are open and what entry rules apply.

Safety notes

Rocks by a waterfall are slippery and the water can rise suddenly after rain; keep clear of the current.
