At Mathurapur in Madhukhali upazila, beside the Chandana River, stands this tall twelve-sided brick tower. Terracotta panels on its walls show scenes from the epics and floral patterns. Who built it and why is still debated, which is part of its appeal.

Take a bus from Faridpur town to Madhukhali, then an auto-rickshaw to Mathurapur village.
