What you can see and do

This house in Dakshindihi village, Phultala, belonged to Mrinalini Devi's family. Her husband was Rabindranath Tagore, so people call it the poet's in-laws' house. The old two-storey building has been repaired and is now a memorial museum. Busts of the poet and Mrinalini stand in front, and a fair is held on his birthday in May.

How to get there

Bus from Khulna city along the Jashore road to Phultala, then an easy bike about 3 km inland to Dakshindihi.

Safety notes

Do not climb on old walls or ruins or write on them; check the opening hours and closing days first.
