What you can see and do

At Abhaynagar village on the Bhairab river, eleven Shiva temples stand around a single courtyard, built in the 18th century by Raja Nilkantha Roy of Chanchra. Made of thin brick and lime mortar, the group has been restored, yet it still sees very few visitors.

How to get there

Take a Khulna-bound bus from Jashore to Nowapara, cross the Bhairab river, then go by auto-rickshaw or van to Abhaynagar village.
