Nearly all buses use the Padma Bridge via Bhanga and Gopalganj. Tungipara Express, Emad Paribahan and Dola Paribahan leave from Gulistan and Dholaipar; Shohagh Paribahan and Ena Transport pick up across the city from Abdullahpur and Malibagh to Sayedabad. In Khulna they stop at Zero Point, Sonadanga, Royal Mor, Fulbari Gate and Fultala. BRTA's chart re-fixed on 22 Sep 2026 (Tk 2.40 per km plus toll) lists Sayedabad–Khulna via the Padma Bridge, Bhanga and Gopalganj (205 km) at Tk 576 in a 51-seat bus and Tk 734 in a 40-seat bus. Per the chart's footnote, buses using the Gulistan–Jatrabari flyover add Tk 7 (51-seat) or Tk 9 (40-seat) a seat for its toll. Counters were quoting Tk 650–800 non-AC and Tk 740–1,350 AC for travel on 12 Oct 2026 (seen 8 Oct 2026 on Shohoz). Non-AC is mostly Tk 730–740; economy AC is mostly Tk 900–1,050 and business class Tk 1,350.

Note: On 3 Oct 2026 the DMP commissioner said the Gulistan and Fulbaria bus terminals would be moved to Chunkutia, Keraniganj within three months, with all buses for 19 southern districts planned to move there. Check the boarding point with the operator before you travel.
