This three-domed mosque in Chatmohar town was built in the late 16th century, in Emperor Akbar's time, by Masum Khan Kabuli. Its thick walls of thin bricks and its curved cornice show a mix of Sultanate and Mughal styles. Restored, the mosque remains in regular use.
Chatmohar is about 30 km north of Pabna town; around an hour by bus or CNG auto-rickshaw, and trains also stop there.
Dress modestly at a place of worship, keep quiet during prayers and ask before taking photographs.
