Direct coaches run through Sylhet city to Sunamganj: Ena and Bilash from Mohakhali, the Airport and Abdullahpur, Hanif from Sayedabad and Fakirapool. BRTA lists 307 km from Sayedabad, Tk 746 (51-seat) / Tk 951 (40-seat), and 295 km from Mohakhali, Tk 719/916; on Shohoz for 12 Oct 2026 non-AC was Tk 900-950 and AC Tk 1200. Scheduled time 6.5 to 8 hours. Shyamoli Paribahan's own ticketing site also lists Dhaka-Sunamganj; the Sadar upazila portal (2018) names Mamun as well, not re-confirmed. BRTC's list gives only the Sunamganj-to-Dhaka night bus. The Dhaka-Sylhet highway was blocked in Habiganj for some hours on 1 Oct 2026 by a bus owners' strike that was suspended that night.
