Last checked: 22 September 2026

BRTA lists Dhaka (Sayedabad)-Shariatpur via the Padma Bridge and Zajira at 73 km, Tk 245 (51-seat) and Tk 312 (40-seat) including the bridge toll. No operator could be confirmed for 2026: the district portal's transport text predates the bridge (Mawa ghat, fares of Tk 130-140; it names only Glory Express), so current operators, timings and AC fares are unknown. BRTC's route list has a Gulistan-Gosairhat AC bus (07:00; Tk 400 at an old rate), but it does not say whether it stops in Shariatpur town.
