By bus, train, launch and air: fares, how long it takes and where it leaves from.
The government fare is from the transport authority's (BRTA) chart for non-AC buses, per seat. AC fares are set by the companies.
Last checked: 22 September 2026
Frequent buses from Gabtoli along the Dhaka-Aricha highway; Shuvojatra and BRTC also run from Gulistan according to the district portal (stamped 23 May 2026; its table is not dated, and BRTC's own route list shows no Manikganj bus). BRTA's Dhaka Metro charts (diesel buses, Tk 2.70/km, one fare per passenger) give Gabtoli-Manikganj as Tk 142 (52.7 km) on the Fulbaria-Paturia chart but Tk 138 (51.0 km) on the Kanchpur-Paturia chart; from Gulistan/Fulbaria Tk 176 (65 km). Selfie Paribahan's Paturia-Dhaka buses were reported on this road in July and September 2026. Journey time and AC fares were not found in any source.
There is no direct intercity train between these two districts.
