Direct buses from Gulistan, Dholaipar and Sayedabad via the Padma Bridge and Bhanga; many Khulna, Pirojpur and Bagerhat coaches also drop at Gopalganj. BRTA lists 142 km, Tk 411 (51-seat) and Tk 524 (40-seat); on Shohoz for travel on 12 Oct 2026 non-AC was mostly Tk 550 (slightly above the chart) and AC Tk 550-950. About 3 to 4 hours: the shortest listed runs are about 3 hours, and arrival times on the platform refer to the end of the bus's route. The Gopalganj Sadar upazila portal (updated April 2025) also names Madhumati Paribahan and Welcome Express.
