By bus, train, launch and air: fares, how long it takes and where it leaves from.
The government fare is from the transport authority's (BRTA) chart for non-AC buses, per seat. AC fares are set by the companies.
Last checked: 22 September 2026
Sayedabad to Bandarban (via Cumilla, Feni, Chattogram) is 318 km on BRTA's list; the regulated non-AC fare, tolls included, is Tk 989 on a 40-seat bus and Tk 776 on a 51-seat bus. Direct coaches are few and mostly leave at night: two ticketing platforms together showed 21 trips for the whole of 12 Oct 2026 (7 and 14). Non-AC seats were Tk 980 on Hanif, S. Alam and Shyamoli NR (Tk 1,050 for a non-AC business-class seat on Saintmartin Paribahan); AC seats ran from Tk 1,400 to 2,100 (Soudia economy 1,400; Hanif Volvo and Saintmartin Hyundai 1,900; Saintmartin Paribahan sleeper 2,100). S. Alam's Dhaka–Bandarban coaches start from Abdullahpur. If no direct coach suits, go to Chattogram and take a Bandarban bus (Purbani) from there.
There is no direct intercity train between these two districts.
