Most direct buses use the Padma Bridge: Dola Paribahan from Gulistan and Dholaipar (about 4.5 hours), Golden Line from Gulistan; Falguni Paribahan's coaches start at Baipail (Ashulia) and Mirpur. Diganta Paribahan's coaches from Gabtoli also pick up at Savar, Nabinagar and Manikganj, so they cross by the Paturia ferry and come via Gopalganj (about 8 hours). By the Padma Bridge road Bagerhat is about 183 km from Dhaka (Roads and Highways Department distance tool). BRTA's chart re-fixed on 22 Sep 2026 lists Bagerhat only on the old 310 km Gabtoli–Paturia ferry–Jashore–Khulna route (Tk 817 in a 51-seat bus, Tk 1,042 in a 40-seat bus), which none of the buses seen online follow, so no regulated fare is shown here; the Sayedabad list has no route ending at Bagerhat (Sayedabad–Pirojpur via the Padma Bridge and Bagerhat, 224 km, is Tk 623 / Tk 794). Counters were quoting Tk 650–730 non-AC from Gulistan (Golden Line, Dola), Tk 850 on Falguni Paribahan, Tk 1,000 from Gabtoli (Diganta), and Tk 900–1,000 AC (Falguni) for travel on 12 Oct 2026 (seen 8 Oct 2026 on Shohoz and bdtickets).

Note: On 3 Oct 2026 the DMP commissioner said the Gulistan and Fulbaria bus terminals would be moved to Chunkutia, Keraniganj within three months, with all buses for 19 southern districts planned to move there. Check the boarding point with the operator before you travel.
