What you can see and do

Zamindar Salamatullah Khan built this mosque at Tetulia village in Tala upazila in the mid-19th century, following Mughal models. Its six domes and rows of slim minarets make it stand out, and a large pond lies beside it, yet only a handful of travellers come.

How to get there

Bus from Satkhira town via Patkelghata to Tala, then an auto-rickshaw or van to Tetulia village.

Safety notes

Dress modestly at a place of worship, keep quiet during prayers and ask before taking photographs.
