Richhang Waterfall

Khagrachhari · Waterfall

What you can see and do

Near Alutila, Richhang drops about 100 feet down a hillside and then runs on over a long slope of rock. The name is from the Marma language. It means water rolling down from a high place. Sliding down the slope is popular here, but the rock is very slippery, so take care.

How to get there

Take a jeep or motorbike about 10 km from Khagrachhari town, then walk down a stepped hill path for the last stretch.

Safety notes

Rocks by a waterfall are slippery and the water can rise suddenly after rain; keep clear of the current.
