What you can see and do

At Saharbati in Gangni upazila, the brick building of this 19th-century indigo kuthi still stands beside the Kajla river. It sees far fewer visitors than Amjhupi; walking past the worn walls, old trees and riverbank helps you picture the indigo years.

How to get there

About 17 km from Meherpur town towards Gangni on the Kushtia road; get off the bus at Saharbati and take a van to the kuthi.

Safety notes

Do not climb on old walls or ruins or write on them; check the opening hours and closing days first.
