What you can see and do

This outing spot surrounds the dam and 40-gate regulator of the Muhuri irrigation project near the mouth of the Feni river at Sonagazi. A wide reservoir lies on one side and chars and fish farms on the other. Migratory birds of many kinds arrive in winter. One of the country's first wind power plants stands nearby.

How to get there

Take a bus or CNG from Feni town. Get down at Sonagazi and go on by auto-rickshaw to the Muhuri Project; about 1.5 hours in all.
