Mallikpur Banyan Tree
What you can see and do
At Mallikpur in Kaliganj, a banyan known locally as Suitola has spread by its aerial roots over several acres and is often described as one of the largest banyan trees in Asia. Walking among its hundreds of trunks feels like entering a small forest.
How to get there
Bus from Jhenaidah town to Kaliganj, then an auto-rickshaw about 10 km east to Mallikpur.
