What you can see and do
In the Sultanate period a town called Mohammadabad stood here; today the place is Barobazar in Kaliganj. Digging has brought up one mosque after another. The Gorar, Satgachhia, Galakata and Jor Bangla mosques stand near each other beside old ponds, and a van takes you round all four in half a day.
How to get there
Take a Jashore-bound bus from Jhenaidah and get off at Barobazar, about 30 km away; hire a van or easy bike to tour the mosques.
