What you can see and do

This small Mughal-era river fort is in the Hajiganj area of Narayanganj town, on the Shitalakshya's west bank. Its job was to block pirates coming in by river. The walls are pierced for muskets and have round bastions at the corners. The raised platform for cannon survives too. Although it is inside the town, few visitors come.

How to get there

From Chashara in Narayanganj town, a rickshaw reaches the Hajiganj area in a few minutes.

Safety notes

Do not climb on old walls or ruins or write on them; check the opening hours and closing days first.
