Buses every 10-15 minutes from Gulistan, Sayedabad and Jatrabari; from Gulistan 05:30 to 23:30; 1-2 hours (the district portal writes '১/২ ঘন্টা', read here as one to two hours). They drop at Muktarpur, from where an auto-rickshaw goes into town. Warning: BRTA lists Sayedabad-Munshiganj as 27 km at Tk 70 (51-seat) / Tk 90 (40-seat), but the Sadar upazila portal (March 2026) says Gulistan-Muktarpur costs Tk 120. The two sources disagree; expect to be asked more than the chart fare. BRTA also lists Sayedabad-Muktarpur via Narayanganj (Pagla) as 25 km, Tk 66/84 (route DDR-34).
