What you can see and do
On the bank of the Padma in Naria upazila, Sureshwar Darbar Sharif has grown up around the shrine of the Sufi saint Hazrat Jan Sharif Shah Sureshwari. During the annual urs, devotees arrive from across the country by boat and bus. At other times it is quiet, with a steady breeze off the Padma in the afternoon.
How to get there
From Shariatpur town, a bus or auto-rickshaw via Naria reaches Sureshwar ghat in about an hour.
